About us;
K9 Groodles has previously been the proud breeder of both the F1 Groodle (Golden retriever X standard Poodle) and the F1B Groodle (Groodle X standard poodle).
We are now based near Brisbane QLD as we have moved from our property in regional NSW. We are not a breeder of the mini Groodle unfortunately and all of our dogs are medium to standard in sizes.
We are a small family run business that has that has many years knowledge and experience with these adorable animals and has been breeding or apart of the breeding scene for over 10 years now. Being a smaller breeder means that we have fewer litters each year being able to put more time and care into our babies and adults. Happy, healthy puppies is our highest priority with all of our puppies being microchipped, wormed, flea and tick treated, vaccinated(x1) and fully vet health checked with all supporting documentation before leaving.
Our aim at K9 Groodles is to breed quality dogs that have low/non shedding coat types and lovable fun natures that will suit any family.
We genetically test all of our dogs with orivet swabs before breeding with them to make sure no bad genetic traits can be passed on to the puppies. This ensures that the puppies are as fit and healthy as possible before leaving for their forever homes.
Benefits of buying a puppy from a smaller breeder
1. Puppies are sensitized with children and other animals at a younger age
2. We have very few liters a year so puppies have more socialisation time or one on one time with myself and my kids making them very affectionate and loving.
3. Standards are higher as we have fewer numbers/ litters each year.
4. More time can be made with preparation for litters so facilities are better maintained.
5. Our "breeding program animals" are actually part of the family and are treated accordingly. We boast that our Mumma-bears are our fur-babies.
6. Communication is better with only having a few clients I am able to communicate more freely with the k9 Groodles extended family/ new forever families.
7. we have a breed to order policy with our waiting list and there are no unnecessary litters on the ground at any time.
8. My animals (mummas and dad) have been raised with my kids and other animals making them very social and calm with beautiful temperaments, this is then carried on with their offspring.
9. We offer a meet and greet where you come and meet myself, mum and dad of the litter and see where the puppies have been housed upon collection of the puppy. For the people that cannot collect on the day or live interstate I can offer a video call.
10. All genetic testing has been completed before breeding.
